8 = Abundance & Reciprocity
A Curated Group Exhibition

Deadline to Submit: June 30, 2026 11:59pm (PST)

Exhibition Dates: August 7 – August 30, 2026
Opening Reception: August 7 (Art Walk)
8/8 Celebration: August 8

8 is a curated group exhibition celebrating eight years of The HeArt Box as a space for art, connection, creativity, and community.

The number eight carries deep symbolism — infinity, cycles, abundance, transformation, balance, and the ongoing flow between giving and receiving. In many ways, it reflects the relationship between artists, community, and creative spaces themselves: an energetic exchange that continues to nourish and shape one another over time.

This exhibition explores abundance not only as material wealth, but as creative abundance, emotional richness, reciprocity, intuition, transformation, and collective connection.

We are looking for work that engages with these ideas in meaningful, unexpected, symbolic, emotional, or visually compelling ways.

We are seeking work inspired by themes such as:

  • infinity

  • sacred geometry

  • mysticism

  • visionary art

  • tarot

  • astrology

  • portals

  • ritual

  • alchemy

  • interconnectedness

  • celestial symbolism

  • manifestation

  • balance between earthly and spiritual realms

We welcome interpretations that are abstract, symbolic, figurative, conceptual, or experiential in nature.

Artistic Approach

We are particularly interested in work that is:

  • intriguing and makes you want to look closer

  • work you can feel — emotionally, energetically, or intuitively

  • intentional and thoughtfully made

  • interesting and visually engaging

  • a little unexpected or out of the box

  • willing to push limits or explore something new

  • connected to the themes of this show in some way

  • alive with the artist’s voice and perspective

  • honest, expressive, and not afraid to take risks
