This summer, The HeArt Box transforms into an immersive collection of new works by owner and artist Jill Sans — a season-long unfolding of botanical abstraction, color, texture, and story.
Running June 5 through August 2, Summer Collection gathers vibrant contemporary works inspired by wild growth, high-desert blooms, feminine energy, memory, and the emotional landscapes of summer. Hibiscus forms, copper elements, layered botanical pigments, stitching, and organic textures weave throughout the exhibition, creating pieces that feel both grounded in nature and alive with movement.
Rather than a static exhibition, Summer Collection will evolve over the course of the season, with new works emerging, shifting, and being added throughout the summer months. Visitors are invited to return often and experience the gallery as a living creative space — one that changes alongside the season itself.
Bold, sensual, radiant, and deeply organic, the collection reflects Jill’s ongoing exploration of connection: between body and earth, softness and strength, intimacy and expansion. Each piece offers a moment to pause, feel, and wander within color, texture, and emotion.
Alongside the exhibition, The HeArt Box is thoughtfully curated with a rotating collection of prints, ceramics, jewelry, gifts, and original artwork created by local Flagstaff artists and makers from across the Southwest and the United States. Each piece within the space is selected with intention — celebrating the beauty of the earth, the spirit of the Southwest, and the deeply unique voices of independent artists and craftspeople.
Located in the heart of downtown Flagstaff, The HeArt Box continues its mission of bringing art and community together through immersive exhibitions, workshops, and experiences where art truly meets heart.
