This fall, join us for a seasonal painting journey celebrating the beauty of the forest through leaves, acorns, and pine cones. Leaf & Cone is a three-part guided workshop series inspired by the rhythm of autumn, designed in the same spirit as our popular Summer Wildflower Series.
Each month, we’ll gather for a 2.5-hour creative session where you’ll paint a unique composition on an 8x8 wood panel. We’ll work with acrylics while also incorporating hand-crafted botanical inks made from the very plants we’re painting—adding an earthy, natural backdrop that lets the wood grain shine through. This mixed-media approach connects you even more deeply to the subject matter, creating a one-of-a-kind piece rooted in the season.
September: Oak Leaves & Acorn (with oak leaf ink, when available)
October: Aspen Leaves (with golden aspen ink, when available)
November: Pine Cone & Needles (with pine ink, when available)
No prior painting experience is necessary—just a love for nature and a willingness to explore.
All materials are provided.
Come for one session or join us for the full autumn series to create a trio of works that reflect the turning of the seasons.
