We’ll carve stamps to make postcards to defend democracy, focusing particularly on protecting our national parks.  No previous art experience is necessary.  This is part of an ongoing series called Make Art Make Justice.

During this 2 hour session the instructor will sprinkle in some instruction to painting techniques while providing lots of room to play. The structure of the class is broken into 3 parts and each transition with be followed by a chance to reflect on the experience and how it relates to our life at large. Through this process we can begin to rewrite stories we have told ourselves about what is good vs bad art, and expand into greater states of creativity.
