A four-part workshop series honoring migration, memory, and mystery in the high desert of Northern Arizona
As we move closer and transition into autumn, the veil grows thin, winged travelers move through Arizona’s skies—monarchs, moths, and butterflies carrying stories of migration, resilience, and transformation. In this intimate series, we gather to reflect, paint, and write on 8x8 wood panels, exploring what these insects teach us about passage, thresholds, and belonging.
Each session blends grounding, storytelling, art-making, and poetry. No prior experience is needed—only openness to the journey. Together, we will create a migration of images and words, honoring both the creatures who travel through Arizona and the journeys we ourselves undertake.
