Easter Monday by David Lash

To a Christian Easter Sunday is most important celebration of the year. Jesus has risen from the dead, a promise of life eternal for his believers. A time to contemplate Christ teaching. For children Easter means jellybeans, marshmallow chicks, and chocolate easter eggs. The egg laying bunny that deposited this treasure might be laying the groundwork for other unexamined beliefs!

Christ teachings, as profound and inspiring as they may be, could be abandoned by some come Monday morning. Bearing false witness, they judge and punish others for giving God a different name.
